David Gould
President
As President of Resolution Media, Dave Gould continues to solidify the agency’s leadership position within the search marketing industry. He joined Resolution Media in October of 2005 as SVP of Strategic Operations. In that capacity, he focused his efforts on aligning Resolution Media’s core operations to deliver superior client service as well as overseeing other support functions such as the financial planning process and human resources. Gould is a member of the AAAA Search Engine Marketing Committee and a frequent guest lecturer at various Chicago area graduate business programs.
Most recently, Gould was a Director at United Airlines where he held positions in the airline’s Mileage Plus direct marketing group, finance and global sourcing. During his four plus years with United, he was instrumental in developing and applying lifetime value metrics associated with their global loyalty program. Additionally, he developed and implemented strategies to reduce the worldwide airport operations cost structure associated with 3rd party service suppliers. Gould started his tenure at United in the Financial Analysis group.
Prior to United, Gould worked as the Manager of Financial Analysis for OurHouse.com, an online home and hardware retailer. Gould spent seven years as a Naval Officer where he gained extensive leadership and management experience. He also holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University.
Bill Neblock
Chief Financial Officer
Bill Neblock oversees Resolution Media’s financial operations and leads strategic initiatives focused on enterprise integration and process improvement. Neblock is also CFO at Omnicom Media Group’s Trading Desk and is focused on efforts to grow the combined digital media business.
Neblock joins Resolution Media from TRAVELCLICK, where he was Corporate Controller. In that capacity he led the company’s international accounting teams and led projects that included implementation of SOX compliance programs and processes as well as selection and implementation of enterprise financial software. Additionally, Neblock was responsible for developing processes and systems to support TRAVELCLICK’s online and travel agent media businesses.
Prior to TRAVELCLICK, Neblock was the Corporate Controller at Flexi-mat, where he led growth and process improvement initiatives ranging from supply chain optimization to product branding. Bill began his career at Deloitte, where gained over seven years of analytical, audit, financial and managerial experience across numerous industries in both the public and private sector.
Neblock graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Accounting and is a C.P.A. Bill lives in Chicago’s western suburbs with his wife Gabriela, their daughter, Hayley and son, Connor.
Jeff Campbell

Senior Account Director
Jeff Campbell has been with the Resolution Media since its foundation in 2003, immersing himself in nearly all aspects of the company’s operations. Currently, he oversees the Advertising and Content solutions for Lowe’s and is focused on strategy development, media integration, measuring online to offline sales impact and web analytics. In addition to his work at Resolution Media, Campbell created and instructs the Search Engine Marketing curriculum at the University of Chicago.
Prior to Resolution Media, Campbell was with Mosaic Data Solutions, a direct marketing agency in Evanston, IL. He co-founded their Paid Search offering and managed several Fortune 500 campaigns.
Campbell gained traditional marketing experience with Sprint PCS Business Development where he worked to launch new products and was involved in all aspects of marketing planning, including pricing strategy, product development, retail distribution, advertising and promotional strategy.
Campbell graduated from Drake University with honors and dual majors in Marketing and Management. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, two children, and their pug, Oliver. He spends his free time camping, hiking, biking, photographing and reviewing inexpensive wines.
Viji Davis

Client Services
Viji Davis is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, retention and growth through oversight of the Client Services department. She ensures the Resolution Media Account and Client Strategy &Development teams provide clients with flawless communication, strategy, solutions and program execution while building and managing ongoing client relationships.
Prior to joining Resolution Media, Davis worked at Performics, where she developed a deep understanding of the search landscape, managing global search campaigns for Hewlett Packard’s B2B and B2C global marketing accounts. She also gained several years of experience with large retailers while on the affiliate side of the business, helping to drive exposure for her clients and significant sales lifts.
Prior to Performics, Davis garnered extensive offline marketing experience at Alpha Thought Global, where she was responsible for uniting six disparate brands under one newly formed parent company. To achieve this, Davis developed a new corporate identity inclusive of a new brand, logo and creation of all marketing collateral.
Davis graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Economics. She and her husband Joey live in Chicago, which they use as a hub for their traveling adventures.
Dave Tan

Innovation, Product Development & Content Solutions
Dave Tan oversees the development of holistic search-based content solutions and ensures that they are integrated into all aspects of a client’s marketing program. His department delivers search engine optimization and content distribution for clients inclusive of website, video, image, RSS, social and mobile platforms. Dave is also focused on developing related new service offerings in consumer research, multi-variant webpage testing to improve conversion rates, and other revenue enhancing products.
Tan brings an extensive 15 year career specializing in interactive marketing, online publishing and general management. Most recently, he was at NAVTEQ/Nokia, as Director, Consumer Products Business Management, responsible for developing the strategic product direction and ongoing management of all NAVTEQ’s consumer facing web sites, media products, and mobile applications.
Prior to NAVTEQ/Nokia, Tan held various management roles at Tribune Interactive over a span of four years, the last being Interim General Manager/Director of Marketing and Development at Chicago Tribune Interactive where he was responsible for all marketing, design, products and advertising development for Tribune Company’s Chicago sites.
Before Tribune, Tan served as an e-Marketing Manager with global responsibility at Shure Inc. Earlier, he held numerous management marketing positions at BrassRing, Inc. and Ethnicgrocer.com. Tan also brings international brand marketing experience with EMI/Capitol Music, promoting numerous international artists throughout the Asia Pacific region. He began his marketing career at the Museum of Television and Radio in New York.
Tan has a MBA with honors in Marketing from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and BA with honors in History from Connecticut College. Outside of the office, Dave and his wife Alysia are happily keeping up with their three boys (twins Alex and Jake and their little brother Zach) in Chicago.
Gerry Bavaro

Gerry Bavaro oversees management and integration of paid search and SEO with sister agency, OMD. Previously, Bavaro was General Manager of Search Marketing at MediaWhiz, a leading performance marketing company where he oversaw the development and growth of search marketing services.
From 2004-2009, Bavaro was Executive Vice President at Didit. During his tenure, he was responsible for the growth of Didit's operations from technology provider to leading search engine marketing agency which solidified long-term relationships with clients such as J Jill, Brookstone, New York & Company, and a host of other major brands. Additionally, he led management of Didit’s Blizzard product, a real-time bidding platform for exchange-based display media. Previous to Didit, Bavaro was an Account Director at Agency.com for over four years where he led interactive strategy and website development projects for Fortune 500 clients including British Airways, Blue Cross & Blue Shield and MetLife. Bavaro began his career as a New York-based marketing representative for social/guerrilla marketing pioneer A.D.D. Marketing where he oversaw campaigns targeting the youth market for Sony PlayStation and up and coming music artists.
Bavaro is a frequent writer and speaker in the search engine marketing industry and has been featured often in MediaPost, DM News, Internet Retailer, Marketing Sherpa and across blogs and on panels at leading industry events including the Search Insider Summit, PubCon, and DPAC. Bavaro received his BBA in marketing from Hofstra University, is an avid snowboarder in his spare time, and resides in Long Beach, Long Island with his wife and daughter.
Marc Steinhart

Marketing & Business Development
Marc Steinhart oversees the business development, marketing, and management of Resolution Media’s direct clients. Steinhart joins Resolution Media from the global SEM firm, Acronym Media where he was the Managing Director, Business Development and Marketing. At Acronym, Steinhart led sales efforts for technology and agency search, signing clients like Sony, Novell and National Grid.
Previously, he was Senior Product Marketing Manager at DoubleClick and Director of Search Marketing at Undertone Networks. Steinhart has also served as Sales Professional Services Manager at Google where he managed the successful worldwide roll-out of Google’s Customer Relationship Management System.
Steinhart is also a frequent writer and speaker in the search engine marketing industry. Steinhart received his BS in marketing from the University of Maryland, in his spare time you will find Marc golfing, racing cars and traveling. Marc is a New York transplant living in Chicago.
David Barnes

Business Intelligence
David Barnes actively develops all data management and infrastructure technology for Resolution Media. Barnes spearheaded the creation of RM3, Resolution Media’s proprietary data warehouse, workflow and analytics tool that automates many functions such as reporting and data collection.
Prior to Resolution Media, Barnes worked for several software and e-commerce companies such as Firestar Interactive and Kankatee LLC. While at Firestar, as a Software Engineer, Barnes was the lead architect on an affiliate platform, which integrated search, email, display, and other media as well as automated data feeds, reporting and billing. At Kankatee LLC, a company Barnes both founded and ran, he was the lead architect and used the platform to test proprietary e-commerce algorithms, experience he has brought with him to further search efforts at Resolution Media.
Barnes is currently a member of the Technology Executives Club and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). When Barnes is not focusing on Resolution Media’s business intelligence practice, he enjoys sailing, snowboarding and robotics.
Barnes graduated from Bryant College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering. He is also both Microsoft MCSE & MCSD certified, as well as, COMPTIA A+ certified.
